Send an Interac® e-Transfer

How to send an Interac® e-Transfer via email using your personal computer


1. Login to MemberDirect® Online Banking

2. Select Transfers > Send INTERAC® e-Transfer from the left hand menu



3. The Edit Profile screen will appear. Some of your profile maybe filled in already. Complete filling in the remaining information Name, Email, Mobile Phone Number & Receive Notices By and click on Continue. A confirmation screen with a receipt with a Profile Status - Completed will appear.



4. Select Send INTERAC® e-Transfer, you'll see a link to Add Recipient under the Transfer TO drop down box. Click on the link and enter the recipient's name, email and/or mobile phone number and corresponding information regarding the method for sending the transfer notice.

5. Enter a security question for the recipient to answer (the answer can only be one word in length).

6. Select Add Recipient and confirm details. You are now ready to send the transfer. This recipient will remain in your recipient list so that you can send future transfers to him/her without having to re-enter any information.



7. Select the recipient's name from the Transfer To drop box.

8. Choose email and/or mobile phone as the method to send by (to correspond with the information you have already entered for that recipient).

9. Select the account you wish to transfer the money from.

10. Enter the dollar value into the Amount field.

11. Enter a message (if you like) in the Message field.

12. Select Send Transfer. Confirm the details.



13. A Send INTERAC e-Transfer Receipt will be produced.

**The transfer may take from ½ hour to 2 hours to send.**



14. There is the option to View/Resend/Cancel Pending e-Transfers. Select Transfers > Send Interac e-Transfer > Pending Transfers



15. Once the e-Transfer has been cancelled the recipient will receive a notification email and/or text message that the e-Transfer has been cancelled.

How to Send an Interac® e-Transfer Using our Mobile App




1. Login to Mobile Web Banking. NOTE: You will need to be signed up for online banking.

2. Select INTERAC® e-Transfer.



3. Select Edit Sender Profile. Some of your profile maybe filled in already. Complete filling in the remaining information Name, Email, Mobile Phone Number & Receive Notices By and click on Continue. A confirmation screen with a receipt with a Profile Status - Completed will appear.



4. Select the Send Money >> link.

5. Select add a new recipient. Or if you have already added the recipient select the Name and skip the next couple of steps.



6. Enter the recipient's name, email and/or mobile phone number and corresponding information regarding the method for sending the transfer notice.

7. Enter a security question for the recipient to answer (the answer can only be one word in length).

8. Select Add Recipient and confirm details. You are now ready to send the transfer. This recipient will remain in your recipient list so that you can send future transfers to him/her without having to re-enter any information.

9. Click on Send Transfer to send an e-Transfer.



10. Enter in the amount and choose email and/or mobile phone as the method to send by (to correspond with the information you have already entered for that recipient). Select Continue.



11. Select Account link to choose the account the transfer will come from.



12. Enter a message (if you like) in the Memo field.

13. Select Continue.



14. Confirm the details and send the transfer!

**The transfer may take from ½ hour to 2 hours to send.**



15. Select Pending Transfers >> to View/Resend Notice/Cancel Pending e-Transfers.
